Community Development & Recreation Director

Supervised by the City Administrator, the Community Development & Recreation Director is a non-exempt position under FLSA. The Community Development & Recreation Director performs administrative, supervisory, and professional work in the planning, development, and operation of comprehensive public programs for the community.

Reports to:
City Administrator

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Community Planning, Public/Business Administration, or a closely related field and two (2) years of relevant experience. A valid Kansas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record is required.

Patrol Officer, Seneca Police Department

The Seneca Police Department is looking for a proactive self-starter to join the Seneca Police Department.

TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  $17.00/Hr

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a good driving record. Must be 21 years of age and have no criminal history.  KLETC certification and prior law enforcement experience preferred but not required.

Applicants will be expected to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, physical exam.

All City employees are required to live within a 15-min response time to Seneca within 60 days of hiring.
