City of Seneca Journeyman Lineman
The City of Seneca is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to join the Electrical Utilities Department.
Supervised by the Electrical Superintendent, a Journeyman lineman is a non-exempt position under
FLSA which performs manual labor and skilled work in the repair, maintenance, and operation of the
city’s electrical distribution system.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. Must possess a Journeyman Lineman Certificate of Completion.
Knowledge of electrical distribution system construction practices, transmission work, and maintenance
required. A valid Kansas Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. This position is a traditional
day shift, Monday-Friday 8 hours per day with required after-hours emergency call response as required.
Pay:
Pay range of $27 – $48/hr., depending on qualifications and experience.

Patrol Officer, Seneca Police Department
The Seneca Police Department is looking for a proactive self-starter to join the Seneca Police Department.
TYPE: Full Time
SALARY: $18.00/Hr
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a good driving record. Must be 21 years of age and have no criminal history. KLETC certification and prior law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
Applicants will be expected to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, physical exam.
All City employees are required to live within a 15-min response time to Seneca within 60 days of hiring.
