[Seneca, Kansas]
On Saturday, May 13 the Seneca Area Chamber and Downtown Impact will host their first free live music event for the season. Events will take place in Seneca’s historic downtown, “in the shade at 5th and Main.” A large two-story building will cast shade on the street just north of the intersection at 5th and Main Streets, allowing for a great place for lawn chairs to be set up to enjoy the music.

On Saturday, June 10, Daniel Christian who blends pop and rock sensibility with his county and folk roots will play. On Saturday, August 12, Matthew Francis, a blues and Motown duo, will play. Finally, on Saturday, September 9, John Depew, a Kansas musician who draws from a background of traditional American, will play. All these dates will be played 6:30pm-8:30pm ‘in the shade at 5th and Main.’
